SUMMER

There are many events planned for the summer at the Lake House, including Earth Day, 4th of July celebration, Evergreen Jazz Festival, Big Chili Cook-Off, and the Summer Concert Series.

Fishing and boating at Evergreen Lake is from sunrise to sunset. A Colorado State fishing license is required, and there is a fee or season park pass required for all private boaters. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and tiger muskie.

There are boat rentals, including canoes, sailboats, paddle boats, fishing boats with bait and tackle available for purchase. A concession stand is located at the boathouse with drinks and snacks.

WINTER

Evergreen Lake boasts the largest groomed, Zamboni-maintained ice rink in North America with over seven acres of skatable ice, including seven hockey rinks, several family rinks, and a massive public rink. All rinks may be rented for private parties, hockey games, or even broom ball.

The Evergreen Lake House is used as the main warming house during the winter where you can rent skates, visit the concession area, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. With an average of 300 days of sunshine each year in Colorado, a sunny ice skating day is the norm.

WEDDINGS

This picturesque venue is perfect for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. With 5,000 feet of entertaining space, the Evergreen Lake House features a great room, which can seat up to 200 with a large stone fireplace, and a smaller octagon room, which is often used for a buffet.

For outdoor ceremonies the deck can seat  up to 80 with additional standing room for a charming and intimate wedding ceremony celebration. There are log railings around the deck with a flagstone deck to the grassy area. The railings can be decorated with flowers or greenery, allowing guests to take in the beautiful shimmering lake beyond as well as the surrounding mountain views.

The Evergreen Lake House is a showcase of rustic log and stone craftsmanship, located right on the 40-acre Evergreen Lake. It is surrounded by mountain views, a beautiful golf course, wildlife, and natural beauty. The lake house is in close proximity to the Denver area.

The Evergreen Lake House is a 5,000-square-foot building sitting on 55 acres, and includes a great room featuring a large stone fireplace, and a smaller octagon room,  both featuring an abundance of natural light. Tables and chairs are provided along with a catering kitchen.
