The Evergreen Lake Trail
The Evergreen Lake Trail, a natural surface trail for walking and jogging encircles the entire lake, is 1.3 miles long. Please note: sections of the lake trail are not conducive to wheel chair and stroller use and are not ADA compliant. Leash laws are enforced for trail and park. Please be courteous and PICK UP AFTER YOUR PETS for other trail/park users.

The Old Boat House
The Old Boat House, built in the 1930′s and located on the south side of Evergreen Lake was partially burned in 1993 and was renovated in a 3-phase project, paid for in part by a State Historical Fund Grant from the Colorado Historical Society and a Conservation Trust Fund Grant from Jefferson County Open Space. The project was completed March 20, 2007. The Boat House is used for the District’s boating program and during the winter the “warming hut” is used for reserved events.

In May, 2008; the Evergreen Nature Center provided an experiential learning environment that created awareness and appreciation of our diverse mountain community environment by improving the understanding of the Lake’s natural environments and enhanced enjoyment of Evergreen Lake.
